Workshop with Vee Speers in Oslo - January 2020
Wow! What an experience having Vee Speers around for four days. It is stunning to see her eager for exploring new forms and concepts in fine art photography. She gladly invited us in to her conceptual world. The participants learned, grew and made their own concepts. Vee gave individual feedback and pushed everyone to find their own unique style. To find their own special voice the photographers had to go into their own creative bubble!
With minor directions the workshop-group was pushed to their limits the first day resulting in great work. Various models and lots of props were available and everyone came out with different pictures.
Friday and Saturday the participants had dinner in the city center resulting in lively conversation, discussions about the days experience and great food and wine. The weekend with Vee Speers was hectic, chaotic, exciting, challenging, fun and everyone met new friends.
To maximize creativity, Blueberry served various homemade soups and salad for lunch every day.

For me, the most rewarding part was watching you all be inspired and pushing yourselves in new directions. We all know that it is better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all. So I want to congratulate those of you who took risks and worked outside of your ‘comfort zone’.
